An exciting Florida freshwater fly-fishing adventure awaits you. Enjoy fly-in fly-fishing as part of "a total experience". Be "magic carpeted" in an “Alaskan” float plane for a day of fly-fishing on Central Florida's most secluded and beautiful lakes and creeks, where fish, wildlife and scenery abound. Pilot/guide for your Florida fly-in fly-fishing adventure is Capt. Ron Bull.

“When I first started flying float planes I realized that this versatile plane would provide the ultimate Florida freshwater fly fishing adventure. The challenge, serenity, esthetics, and freedom of the two coming together brought a "new life" to my fly-fishing pleasure. I have enjoyed this unique experience from Florida to the mountains of Alaska and Maine, and will share it with you here on the beautiful lakes and creeks of Central Florida. I have fly-fished the "Brookies" of New England, the Brown Trout of Colorado, the Rainbows of Alaska, and the Small Mouth Bass of Maine, and savor many memories and look forward to future trips. But, Florida is unique in offering perfect flying and fly-fishing weather the year around. It has been my home for almost fifty years now. The Florida Large Mouth Bass, Crappie and Bream of Florida’s warm water tends to offer a faster pace for the fly fisherman, and is one reason large Bluegill are among my favorite "quarry".

Get ready for the most unique fly-in fly-fishing trip south of Alaska and Canada. There are over 550 lakes near Winter Haven in Polk County, Florida where our fly-in fly-fishing service is based. Yet, only 80 of these lakes have public access without a floatplane. A guided day trip for one is $525, including lunch at a most unique outdoor sportsman’s camp restaurant. Trips are available Monday through Saturday.

You must possess a valid Florida Freshwater fishing license. You can call 1-888-347-4356 and with a credit card pay for your license. You will get a confirmation number that lets you begin fishing immediately. Please be sure to bring the confirmation number with you. Also, you may bring your own gear, or we will provide it all for you if you like, at no additional charge.

We prefer catch and release, and provide photos of your fly-fishing adventure. If Crappie are cooperating though, (we catch Crappie top water, as well as with nymphs and steamers) you might like to keep some for a good meal. We will be wading, fishing from a boat, or both, based on your personal preferences. Our boats are specifically made for this type of fishing adventure. They are portable, but comfortable.

Beautiful, fully equipped, modern cedar cabins with central air and heat are available for reasonable rates at our base camp, Oak Harbor, with advanced booking (see our page and cabin link).
